Description: Biotinylated Goat Anti-Human Interferon Alpha/Beta R1

Contents: 50 µg/vial

Concentration: 50 µg/ml; after reconstitution with 1ml sterile Tris-buffered saline pH 7.3 containing 0.1% BSA.

Form: Lyophilized from a 0.2 µm filtered solution in phosphate-buffered saline (PBS) containing 50 µg of bovine serum albumin (BSA) per 1mg of antibody.

Antigen: Sf 21-derived Hu-IFN-α/β R1 extracellular domain

Isotype: Human IFN alpha/beta R1 extracellular domain specific goat IgG

Purification: an interferon alpha/beta R1 affinity chromatography and then biotinylated.

Specificity: Detects human interferon alpha/beta R1 in western blots

Tested Applications: Optimal dilutions should be determined by each laboratory for each application

Western Blot: 0.1 - 0.2 µg/ml with the appropriate secondary reagents to detect human IFN-α/β R1.

Flow Cytometry: 3 - 10 µg/10⁶ cells with the appropriate secondary antibody for indirect immunofluorescence staining of cells by flow cytometry.

Special Conditions/Comments: After receipt, this product should be kept at -20°C for retention of full activity. Upon reconstitution with sterile Tris-buffered saline pH 7.3 containing 0.1% BSA, the antibody can be stored at 2-8°C for 1 month without detectable loss of activity. Reconstituted antibody can also be aliquoted and frozen at -20° to -70°C in a manual defrost freezer for 6 months without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. .
