Description: Recombinant Mouse Limitin

Contents: 10 µg/vial, lyophilized

Reconstitution: Sterile PBS containing at least 0.1% human serum albumin or bovine serum albumin

Buffer: PBS containing 50 µg of bovine serum albumin per 1 µg of Mouse Limitin

Source: A DNA sequence encoding mouse Limitin with a C-terminal 6 histidine tag (Accession number BAA83749) (Oritani, K., et al., 2000, Nature Medicine 6:659) was expressed in a mouse myeloma cell line, NS0.

Molecular Weight: approximately 25 kDa due to glycosylation

Purity: ≥95%

Activity: ED₅₀ is typically 3-15 pg/ml.

Assay Used to Measure Bioactivity: Mouse L-929 cells infected with enchephalomyocarditis virus (Vogel, S.N., et al., 1982 Infect. Immunol. 36:681).

Special Conditions/Comments:  After receipt, this product should be kept at -20°C or below for retention of full activity.  When thawing, the contents of the tube should be apportioned in separate tubes so that freezing and thawing is kept to a minimum.  Use polypropylene pipette tips and tubes when diluting this interferon.  Dilute only in PBS containing at least 0.1% HSA or BSA to prepare a stock solution of no less than 10ug/ml of Mouse Limitin.
