ELISA Kits For Human Interferon Detection

PBL's enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) kits are heterogeneous antibody sandwich immunoassays. Interferon is captured by antibody immobilized to microtiter plate wells, and a detection antibody is used to complete the sandwich. A signal generator of conjugated horseradish peroxidase (HRP), together with tetramethyl benzidine (TMB), is used to develop the assay.

Most human interferon-Alpha ELISA kits have been developed solely for the purpose of detecting Interferon-Alpha A (human interferon-Alpha 2a) or the closely related Interferon-Alpha 2 (human Interferon-Alpha 2b). To address the need to detect all of the human Alpha interferons, PBL developed the Human Interferon-Alpha Multi-Species ELISA kit (Product No. 41105) and the Human Interferon-Alpha Serum Sample kit (Product No. 41110).
